Kawasaki Other description

Here is an extremely nice and original 68 350 A7SS. This bike has only 9150 miles on it and runs great, just how a very low miles High pipe A7 should. Starts easily, Idles smoothly almost immediately. Clutch is smooth and it shifts into first with a quick touch of the shifter. It accelerates smooth and quickly with no odd hesitations or noise as you run thru the gear box. Brakes work well and have a positive feel.
Original paint is in ok condition, has a few nicks and scratches that you would expect from a forty year old paint job. Also has a area on the headlight and on the back of the tank that are a different shade of red.  Seat is original and free of any rips or tear, pan is good. The chrome thru-out the bike shines well but does have the typical peppering. The pipes cleaned up very nicely and are very solid. The guards shine nicely and do have some peppering typical of bikes this age. Wheel and spokes shine quite well and the spokes would even look better with a little more time spent on them.

This little bike has the neatest air induction covers so that it can take air directly from the outside and bypass the air cleaner. There is a little screen behind a foam cleaner that can be seen it the pictures. These look factory and several people have told me Kawasaki has produced these as a racing option, What ever, all I know is they look factory and fit perfectly to the side cover with a dome finish so they fit tight.

Fenders are stainless and in very nice condition.

Fuel tank is clean inside. Battery is new. Bike has had a complete professional tune up, carbs cleaned. Gauges are nice and clear.

Now this bike performs very well. Please remember it is 45 years old and is not perfect.  This bike will not disappoint.

Isle of Man TT 2012: Lightweight TT Results

Mon, 11 Jun 2012

Ryan Farquhar earned his third ever Isle of Man TT win in the return of the Lightweight TT class. Absent since the 2009 Isle of Man TT with 250cc machines, the 2012 iteration of the Lightweight class features 650cc twins such as the Kawasaki Ninja 650 (or ER-6F, as it’s known on that side of the Pond) which most competitors rode. The race was moved back to Saturday, June 9, after rain forced organizers to cancel the initially-scheduled Friday race.

Kawasaki Recalls Concours 14 for Rear Brake Problem A Previous Recall Failed to Fix

Fri, 27 Jul 2012

Kawasaki is issuing a recall for the Concours 14 for a rear brake pedal issue the company had previously tried to fix in 2008. According to documents released by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, road debris can get trapped between the brake pedal and a pedal guard, causing slight pressure on the rear brakes. The rear brake drag can cause the brakes to overheat, potentially leading to brake damage, a rear brake lockup or failure of the rear brakes.
