Kawasaki Other tech info
Kawasaki Other description
The Kawasaki SG was a street motorcycle manufactured by Kawasaki and based on earlier Meguro Works designs. It was sold from 1964 through 1969 and featured a 250cc 4-stroke engine that produced 18 hp @ 7,000 rpm. Early versions arriving in America came with a either a Meguro or a Kawasaki bade on the tank. The SG was available in both solo and long touring seat styling.
This 250SG is extremely rare. You may never ever again have the chance to buy such a fine bike in need of minor restoration. This bike has spent it's entire life in a moister free enviorment. There is zero rust and no pitting at all. The bike runs and rides with no smoke or bad motor noise. The bike is about 99% original with the exception of the seat which I changed, but it does come with the original as seen in the photos. Thanks

More Teasers for the 2012 Kawasaki ZX-14R
Wed, 21 Sep 2011Kawasaki has released another teaser for its upcoming revised ZX-14, now dubbed ZX-14R. In the first video, a couple of numbers are cryptically displayed: 84 x 65mm. This is a thinly veiled reference to its bore and stroke dimensions, indicating the biggest Ninja received a 4mm stroke elongation, which would bump the bike’s displacement from 1352cc to 1441cc.
2014 WSBK – Aragon Results

Sykes’ Kawasaki teammate Loris Baz was right there with him, recording a pair of second-place podiums to give Team Green a pair of one-two finishes. Sykes and Baz were also one-two in the Superpole qualifying on this nearly flawless weekend for the Kawasaki factory team.
Japan Needs Your Help
Thu, 17 Mar 2011By now, we’ve all seen pictures and video of the devastation in Japan following the March 11 earthquake and the ensuing tsunamis. Japan, of course, has contributed much to motorcycling, with the Big Four of Honda, Kawasaki, Suzuki and Yamaha, as well as tire manufacturer Bridgestone, helmet companies Arai and Shoei and many other motorcycle industry stalwarts all coming from the Land of the Rising Sun. Jon Bekefy and Greg Hatton, two motorcycle enthusiasts, industry employees and above all, humanitarians, have set up a fundraising campaign benefiting the Red Cross for relief efforts in Japan.
