Kawasaki Ninja description

2012 Kawasaki ZX-10R non-ABS Race bike

4259 Miles

Bought last year from original owner with 37xx miles. Raced the bike for 3 OMRRA race weekends. Went on to several podiums in the open supersport and superbike and never took it out of medium power mode and ran stock chain, sprockets and gearing! Would be racing it this year but shoulder injuries have forced me to retire. This bike is supersport legal.

Have stock bodywork and title. I never transferred the title into my name but it is signed off and ready to be registered. Title is clean, not branded. This is not some salvaged rebuilt bike. Bike has been down twice on track (never on the street). Tank and tank trim is banged up. This is only an issue if you want to convert it back to a street bike. All other street parts are in like-new condition.

Pros:
4259 miles, (about 500 on track)
Full Woolich racing ECU kit with adjustable launch control, adjustable wheelie and traction control, and high power map.
Ohlins TTX rear shock (sprung for 165lb rider)
GP Susupension 25mm catridge kit
Brand new Motoforza faring kit including full tank cover, gel coat is reasonably thick and looks good, you could get away with not painting it if you wanted
Batery Tender brand, small/light LiIon battery
EBC HH pads with 1 race on them
Vortex Rearsets
1/5 turn throttle
Galfer stainless brake lines
T-Rex frame sliders
BMC high flow air filter
Brother's slip-on
Bike was checked over the winter - frame is true, wheels are true, fluids changed, fully wired, ready to win races
Title and stock bodywork/muffler/accessories

Will include AMB, front and rear stands, and woodcraft tire warmers. Just fill it up with fuel and you are ready to race!

Cons:
Tank is beat up (can't tell under the race bodywork)
Tank trim is damaged (only needed if converted back to street bike
Brother's muffler is beat up (outside only, fully straight and functional)

That's about it. Hit me up with any questions.

WSBK: 2012 Donington Results – Video

Mon, 14 May 2012

BMW earned its first-ever World Superbike race win at the U.K.’s Donington Park, but missed out on sweeping the round after teammates Leon Haslam and Marco Melandri crashed on the final corner while battling for the lead in the second race. Melandri earned BMW its landmark first win in Race One leading Haslam in a one-two finish. They could have repeated that finish in Race Two but Haslam low-sided after making contact with Honda‘s Jonathon Rea trying to pass on the inside.

French Moto Website Anticipates Versys 1000 at EICMA 2011

Mon, 24 Oct 2011

Musings of a liter-size engined Kawasaki Versys have circulated the web for a few years now, as loyalists of the likable Versys 650, as well as displacement-driven riders waiting in the wings, have pondered the potential of a more powerful adventure bike from Kawasaki that’s in the same league as BMW’s R1200GS and Yamaha’s Super Tenere. Alas, nothing of the sort has ever left the lips of Kawasaki, let alone go into production. Recently, however, the French motorcycle website, Moto-net.com, has produced convincing images that appear like photos of a complete Versys 1000, including matching hard luggage.
