2012 Kawasaki Ninja 1000 Sport Bike / Sport Touring Bike This motorcycle has been babied from day one. It has been ridden by a 69 year old rider with 40 years riding experience. The bikes 11,500 rpm ride line has never been seen, actually, I have never had the bike over 8500 rpm. Why the sale of my favorite bike, it's time to move on to 4 wheels, 70 in July. Below is a list of all the modifications, all done professionally. Tue, 20 Mar 2012The 2012 Daytona 200 delivered another fairy-tale finish with underdog privateer Joey Pascarella and the Project 1 Atlanta team fending off a pack of three other racers to win by a slim 0.048 second margin. Competing in just his first Daytona 200, 19-year-old Pascarella from Victorville, Calif., held the lead for 41 out of 57 laps to finish first ahead of a last year’s winner Jason DiSalvo while Cameron Beaubier squeezed by 2010 Daytona Sportbike Champion Martin Cardenas in a photo-finish to take third. For the Project 1 Atlanta team, the win marked a dramatic turnaround from a let down in 2011.

Wed, 04 May 2011I'm taking inspiration from the Paul Bird Kawasaki squad and I'm making a few subtle mods to my 10R to make it look a little more like the WSB machine. I've started by ordering a Leo Vince exhaust. Not sure I can afford those Brembo calipers though...
