Superbike Coach Teams With Feel Like A Pro
Tue, 11 Mar 2014Can Akkaya, former European superbike racer and currently proprietor of SuperbikeCoach.com, has announced a partnership with Feel Like A Pro. For those unfamiliar, Feel Like A Pro provides Kawasaki Ninja 250 race bike rentals across the west coast for a nominal fee of $299. The namesake comes from the experience you get, as a technician, gas, and tires are all included in the cost.
What We Ain’t Getting: 2012 Kawasaki ER-6n
Tue, 11 Oct 2011Kawasaki announced its 2012 street model lineup this week announcing a number of updates to its ZX-14R, as well as the Vulcan 1700 Voyager, Ninja 1000 and Ninja 650. Absent from Kawasaki’s U.S. offerings is the naked version of the Ninja 650, the ER-6n which has also been updated and will be available in other markets such as Europe and Canada.

Mon, 21 Oct 2013Eugene Laverty did everything he could, scoring a pair of race wins but it was not enough as Tom Sykes rode smartly and conservatively at the season finale in Spain, securing his first ever World Superbike Championship. Sykes landed in Jerez with a 37-point lead over Laverty and a 38-point lead over Sylvain Guintoli. While Laverty battled Marco Melandri to win Race One, Sykes coasted comfortably in third for most of the race to score 16 points, enough to clinch the title.
