Kawasaki Ninja description

Bike is in great shape. Clean title in hand! Runs and rides great! Has 8600+ miles and will go up because I ride it almost daily. Just changed the oil with spectro fully synthetic and OEM filter. The bike comes with bridgestone battleaxe tires that are in great condition, as well as a Leo Vince slip-on exhaust and fender eliminator. The previous owner dropped the bike in his driveway and as a result there are a few small scrapes. Bike is not in perfect shape but If you want a nice running bike with a few small cosmetic imperfections at a good price then look no further.

I've owned multiple 600 sport bikes. A 2008 R6, 2007 GSXR-600, 2008 CBR600RR, and finally my 2009 zx6r. This bike simply blows the others away. Very fast, shorter riding position, great sound, great handling. The mid range power on this bike is awesome! The only reason I'm selling the bike is because winter is coming and I would like to get a UTV or 4x4 pickup truck.

Please don't bid unless you have the cash to buy! Call or text at 317-408-4387 for with questions. I have the right to take the ad down if it sells locally.

40 years of the Z1 T-Shirt

Mon, 11 Jun 2012

Kawasaki have launched this T-Shirt in celebration of the Z1. If you're a fan, or if you've got one tucked away in the garage, then you need this in your life. Here's what Kawasaki have to say about it: Forty years after its European launch at the 1972 IFMA show in Cologne, Germany, the Z1 and resultant Z line of motorcycles, are firmly part of the biking landscape. As part of the activities to promote this landmark, Kawasaki has created a Z40 celebration T shirt.

A Weighty Issue

Mon, 03 Nov 2008

For as long as I can remember, motorcycle manufacturers have been playing fast and loose with regard to what they claim for the weight of their bikes. The “dry weights” they foisted upon us had little basis in reality. The “dry” part of that claim meant that listed weights on a spec chart were the result of all fluids being MIA from the bike, including necessities like engine oil, coolant and fork fluid (not to mention fuel), but even that didn’t fully explain the overly optimistic specs.

Old Dog, New Tricks: Tackling The LA-Barstow To Vegas Dual-Sport Ride

Mon, 05 Dec 2022

Joining the 39th running of the famed event on a Ducati DesertX and a Kawasaki KLX300 Credit: Photos by Cait Maher, Evans Brasfield, Grumpy, and Ryan Adams Let’s be honest, dual-sport motorcycles aren’t really designed for touring, despite my best efforts ( here and here). The bikes are merely street-legal dirt bikes without much accommodation for creature comfort. So, spending 220-ish miles flat in the saddle from Las Vegas, NV to Palmdale, CA, mostly on Interstate 15, is a platform for cataloging discomforts, and after riding approximately 360 miles, mostly off road over the two previous days, my aches-and-pains were legion.
