Beautiful, fast, light weight, runs excellent, low miles, custom exhaust, never down Special Edition Ninja ZX10R sport bike. If you know these bikes then you know the Kawasaki engineers re-designed this model in 2008 to make it lighter and faster and make the rider feel at one with the bike. So, I bought this one for me when I was on vacation in Florida and titled it into my name and then had it shipped up to my house here in SoCal at Lake Arrowhead. Then I rode it and found out I am too short for it! My feet are not flat on the ground at stops and that is making feel out of control on it. I thought it would go nicely with my Harley up here in the mountains but I just don't think I should keep it since I am not comfortable at stops. I have looked into RaceTech in Corona lowering the bike properly for me but it would cost me $1400 which I cannot spend right now. The bike has a clear Florida title in my name with no liens or issues but it is currently at my house in Southern California. So, I will sell this awesome ride (unfortunately for me). At least Honda’s had the decency to change its nomenclature over the years to give the impression of evolution. Kawasaki is standing pat with the 292 cc Single that’s powered its KLX since 1996, along with its KLX nomenclature.
Jeremy Toye Wins 92nd Running Of Pikes Peak International Hill Climb
Mon, 30 Jun 2014On his first attempt at the Broadmoor Pikes Peak International Hill Climb, road racer Jeremy Toye set a record in the premiere Open Class to win the category aboard a 2015 Kawasaki ZX-10R, celebrating the 30th year of the legendary Ninja brand. Prior to setting foot on the hill, Toye was confident he could get among the class leaders, aiming to beat the outright Pikes Peak motorcycle record, which was set by Carlin Dunne in 2012 with a time of 9:52.819. While that record remains intact, Toye was able to set a time of 9:58.687 to win the Open Class, finishing 6sec ahead of his closest rival, Fabrice Lambert aboard a Ducati.
