Fri, 15 Feb 2013You may remember last fall’s release of the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R was accompanied by a mind-blowing short video commercial of a rider screaming around the 37.33-mile Isle of Man TT course aboard the new 636 Ninja. Now, Team Green has just released a “Making Of” video about the production of that video, featuring TT star James Hillier. This behind-the-scenes short film shows the crew capturing Hillier as he passes within millimeters of the camera. You’ll see the camera-equipped pursuit bike racing side-by-side with Hillier, as well as the aerial heli-cam.
Lee Rocker To Play Free Concert At AIMExpo
Thu, 09 Oct 2014Lee Rocker, of 1980′s Stray Cats fame, and still considered one of the most influential upright bass players in rock n’ roll history, will perform a free concert at the AIMExpo Saturday Night, October 18 outside of the AIMExpo show floor at Orlando’s Orange County Convention Center (OCCC). Rocker and the band take the stage at 7 p.m. to deliver a rockabilly performance. All AIMExpo attendees with either an admission ticket or a show badge are welcome to attend the intimate performance. Kawasaki Re-Signs Multi-Year Contracts with Villopoto and Weimer
Fri, 07 Sep 2012Ryan Villopoto and Jake Weimer have signed multi-year contract extensions with Kawasaki, ensuring the two riders will continue competing for Team Green in AMA Supercross and AMA Motocross championships through 2013 and beyond. Villopoto and Kawasaki have been a winning combination both indoors and outdoors. Villopoto won three 250 motocross titles and a Supercross Lites West Region title with Kawasaki before moving up to the 450 class in 2009, winning two Supercross races in his rookie year.
