Coffee & Autographs With Villopoto This Weekend

Get up-close and personal with the newly crowned, four-time Supercross Champion, Ryan Villopoto this Saturday, May 10, 2014 at Kawasaki headquarters in Irvine, California. Villopoto and Team Monster Energy Kawasaki and the Pro-Circuit Kawasaki team riders will be on hand for a special autograph session from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m., Saturday morning. Kawasaki Celebrates 40th Anniversary of KX – Video

Kawasaki is marking the 40th anniversary of its KX dirt bike lineup with a special web page and a new documentary (look for Part 1 below). The KX legacy began in 1974 with the KX250 which was based on the works machine ridden by AMA Motorcycle Hall of Famer Jimmy Weinert in 1973. The KX Dirt Domination page highlights the successes of the KX line over the last 40 years, including its astounding run in AMA Supercross and Motocross over the last decade.

Malaysian Police Launches Fleet of 2013 Kawasaki Ninja 250 Patrol Bikes – Video

The Royal Malaysian Police has upgraded its motorcycle patrol squad with a fleet of police-spec 2013 Kawasaki Ninja 250 sportbikes. The law agency’s Unit Rondaan Bermotosikal (Malaysian for motorcycling patrol unit) will receive 1000 units of the Ninja 250 which received a substantial update for 2013. Essentially, it’s the same as the Kawasaki Ninja 300 with ABS and fuel injection but with a 249cc engine.
