WSBK to Make Fake Headlight Stickers Mandatory for 2013

World Superbike racebikes will be required to have fake headlight stickers on their race fairings to more closely resemble their production series counterparts. The new regulation, set to kick in for the 2013 WSBK season, was designed to establish a closer link between the production model and the race-trim superbike. The new rules will also mandate 17-inch aluminum wheels.

It appears as if Kawasaki is gearing up to launch a revised version of its ZX-14 Ninja. We already showed you a video teaser featuring a crop-circle-like number 14 in a farmer’s field. With the AMA Supercross season now over, the American Motorcyclist Association congratulates the three riders who claimed AMA No. 1 plates during the 2014 AMA Supercross season — Ryan Villopoto, 450SX champion; Justin Bogle, 250SX East champion; and Jason Anderson, 250SX West champion.
