After taking the lead with the introduction of an all-new Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R sportbike in 1998 and remaing strong among competitors in 1999, the new 2000 ZX-6R is poised to have the competition chasing it into the new millennium. Building on the success of its predecessors, the 2000 ZX-6R is even more tightly focused to keep Kawasaki ahead of the pack. A new engine, revised suspensioin, frame modifications, lower weight and a mean aerodynamic fairing - characterized by dual headlights - help ensure that the ZX-6R will again lead the way in the highly-competitive 600cc category.

WSBK to Make Fake Headlight Stickers Mandatory for 2013
Fri, 29 Jun 2012World Superbike racebikes will be required to have fake headlight stickers on their race fairings to more closely resemble their production series counterparts. The new regulation, set to kick in for the 2013 WSBK season, was designed to establish a closer link between the production model and the race-trim superbike. The new rules will also mandate 17-inch aluminum wheels.
WSBK 2013: Donington Park Race Report
Mon, 27 May 2013Tom Sykes had an outstanding weekend in front of his home fans, scoring a pair of wins at the World Superbike Championship round at the United Kingdom’s Donington Park. The Kawasaki racer led every session from first qualifying onwards, before leading all 23 laps in both races for the double. The double victory brings Sykes to within 4 points of series leader Sylvain Guintoli who had a decent weekend himself with a pair of podium finishes.
