Kawasaki Ninja description

Up for sale is my 1999 Kawasaki ZX11D.  This bike is in very good condition for its age and needs nothing to ride away today!  It is a great bike.  I am only selling to get something different.  First, let's tackle the bad:

1.  Small oil leak on lower engine gasket.  So small, it was not worth the cost to repair.

2.  A bit cold natured (carbureted), but gets better the more it is started and moved.

3.  Some minor scratches on fairings from normal riding, gravel striking.

4.  Upper fairing bolts have different thread sizes, but both fit and screw in fine.

Now, the good:

Garage/shed kept since I bought it in 2008, Muzzy cooling fan, D&D exhaust wrapped in fiberglass wrap for cooler ride, stage 3 jetted carbs, K&N air filter, aftermarket fairings, Sargent seat, oil changed every season, carbs cleaned and tune up every other season, clutches and starter replaced new last season, powder coated wheels, Bulldog alarm, clear tail light with LED bulbs, lowered 2 inches (bike was a little high for average height like myself).  Runs great. Has not been raced or laid down since I owned it.  Only ridden normally.  KBB value on the bike is $3125.  Buyer responsible for pick up or shipping.  Thanks for looking!!!

2025 Kawasaki KLX230R / KLX230R S Review

Mon, 11 Nov 2024

Designed to inspire addiction Kawasaki would like to think it knows its customer possibly better than they know themselves, and anyone invested in bringing new riders into the sport understands the importance of setting them up for success. A new rider’s first steed should be approachable, forgiving, playful, price-conscious, and cool. Kawasaki has set out to offer the perfect bike on all fronts, and in my opinion, they have succeeded.
