I am selling my cool vintage '86 Ninja GPZ 600R. It has 13k on the odometer which is very low for being almost 30 yrs old. I just rebuilt the carbs and the bike runs. The upgrades include a jetting kit, steering stabilizer, rear fender eliminator, tinted windscreen, and Yoshimura exhaust. The bike is garaged and virtually free of rust. It has the the original paint which is far from perfect but is very cool. 1986 was the only year with this particular paint scheme and graphics. The seat is perfect with no tears. The tires have good tread left. Not too many of these bikes pop up for sale especially in running condition, so get it while you can! I have a clear title. Price is $1600 firm. A dual celebration marking the conclusion of a massive refurbishment project, the fun packed evening also marks the unveiling of Silverstone Motorcycles as the latest Kawasaki dealer in the UK. With a raft of attractions including a special guest appearance by Kawasaki World Superbike star, Tom Sykes, a ticket prize competition for the WSB round itself, plus the chance to ride a Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R round the new Silverstone Stowe circuit over the race weekend, the evening has been conceived as a way of launching the new dealership and welcoming as many Kawasaki fans as possible according to Managing Director, Nikki Lockyer.
Kawasaki Re-Signs Multi-Year Contracts with Villopoto and Weimer
Fri, 07 Sep 2012Ryan Villopoto and Jake Weimer have signed multi-year contract extensions with Kawasaki, ensuring the two riders will continue competing for Team Green in AMA Supercross and AMA Motocross championships through 2013 and beyond. Villopoto and Kawasaki have been a winning combination both indoors and outdoors. Villopoto won three 250 motocross titles and a Supercross Lites West Region title with Kawasaki before moving up to the 450 class in 2009, winning two Supercross races in his rookie year.
WSBK: 2012 Monza Results
Mon, 07 May 2012It was supposed to be a weekend of celebration. The World Superbike Championship was celebrating its 25th anniversary of racing at Italy’s Monza circuit. Promoters Infront Motorsports brought out 30 landmark Superbikes from the series’ history, while greats such as Fred Merkel, Doug Polen and Carl Fogarty were in attendance for what was supposed to be a weekend to remember.
