Previous owner had carbs cleaned three years ago. Owned since 3/15.  Grandpa Ninja. Very fast.  Needs starter or starter wire needed.  Not running.  Spaghetti western under seat, previous owner put in a 400w stereo, hard wired bags with interior lights, mp3 stereo, great tires, fog lights, full faring and bags, needs good touring seat, rear shocks leak air but last seemingly all day riding...shaft drive, looking to modernize. price reflects condition, front forks solid and handles nicely at 80 mph, always adult owned, stored indoors until March of 2015 when I aquired it...Have fun where ever you go!  KZT10A 1982   Buyer assumes responsibility of shipping costs. Old Dog, New Tricks: Tackling The LA-Barstow To Vegas Dual-Sport Ride

Mon, 05 Dec 2022

Joining the 39th running of the famed event on a Ducati DesertX and a Kawasaki KLX300 Credit: Photos by Cait Maher, Evans Brasfield, Grumpy, and Ryan Adams Let’s be honest, dual-sport motorcycles aren’t really designed for touring, despite my best efforts ( here and here). The bikes are merely street-legal dirt bikes without much accommodation for creature comfort. So, spending 220-ish miles flat in the saddle from Las Vegas, NV to Palmdale, CA, mostly on Interstate 15, is a platform for cataloging discomforts, and after riding approximately 360 miles, mostly off road over the two previous days, my aches-and-pains were legion.

2014 AMA Supercross – Daytona Results

Mon, 10 Mar 2014

Ryan Villopoto was dominant in Daytona, leading all 20 laps to win his third race of the season. The Monster Energy Kawasaki ride strengthened his hold on the 2014 AMA Supercross championship lead, padding his lead over Red Bull KTM riders Ryan Dungey and Ken Roczen. The reigning three-time champion was far and away the fastest racer on the Daytona International Speedway infield, posting lap times more than a second faster than anyone else.

Kawasaki Re-Signs Multi-Year Contracts with Villopoto and Weimer

Fri, 07 Sep 2012

Ryan Villopoto and Jake Weimer have signed multi-year contract extensions with Kawasaki, ensuring the two riders will continue competing for Team Green in AMA Supercross and AMA Motocross championships through 2013 and beyond. Villopoto and Kawasaki have been a winning combination both indoors and outdoors. Villopoto won three 250 motocross titles and a Supercross Lites West Region title with Kawasaki before moving up to the 450 class in 2009, winning two Supercross races in his rookie year.
