Original KZ650B with only 3,100 miles. Everything is original and in good shape including chrome and paint. Bike has not been registered since 1980. Factory tires are still on the bike. The bike is in great condition looks, starts and runs like new. This gem needs very little to be just like new. A couple of blinker dents in the tank that should be paintless repaired to keep original. Electric Starter may be going out but starts on the first kick every time. Runs and shifts like a new bike. I'm the second owner. Original owner rode it for 2 years and it's been in a garage until I got it. I can send more pictures or answer any questions that I can. AMA Pro Racing Announces Basic Twins Flat Track Class for 2014 Season

AMA Pro Racing announced a new class for Flat Track racing designed to provide a new stepping stone for up-and-coming Pro-licensed racers, replacing the Pro Singles class in 2014. The new class, to be called Basic Twins, is more or less a revival of the Basic Expert Twins division that ran during the 2007 and 2008 seasons, but dropped when the Pro Singles class was introduced for 2009. The new class will give young racers a chance to showcase their skills on Twins, easing their transition to eventually enter the Grand National Expert Twins class.

US Motorcycle Thefts Down 6% in 2011

Americans reported 46,667 motorcycle thefts in 2011, a 6% decrease from 49,791 stolen motorcycles in 2010, reports the National Insurance Crime Bureau. Despite the drop in reported thefts, the non-profit organization representing nearly 1100 property and casualty insurance companies says the theft rate still averages out to one motorcycle stolen every 11 minutes in the U.S. The numbers were published in the NICB’s 2011 ForeCAST Report which examined theft reports as well as recoveries.
