Isle of Man TT 2014: Bikenation Lightweight TT Results

Dean Harrison won his first Isle of Man TT race, taking the three-lap Bikenation Lightweight TT by 14.6 seconds. Harrison took the lead early, having the fastest time through Glen Helen ahead of last year’s Lightweight TT winner James Hillier by about half a second. Harrison stretched the lead to 9.7 seconds by the end of the first lap.

Lee Rocker To Play Free Concert At AIMExpo

Lee Rocker, of 1980′s Stray Cats fame, and still considered one of the most influential upright bass players in rock n’ roll history, will perform a free concert at the AIMExpo Saturday Night, October 18 outside of the AIMExpo show floor at Orlando’s Orange County Convention Center (OCCC). Rocker and the band take the stage at 7 p.m. to deliver a rockabilly performance. All AIMExpo attendees with either an admission ticket or a show badge are welcome to attend the intimate performance. Melissa Paris To Race FIM CEV Superstock 600 In 2014 Aboard Kawasaki ZX-6R

With the recent turmoil in the AMA Pro Roadracing series lately, many teams and riders are looking at other options for the 2014 racing season. Among those is Melissa Paris, who recently announced she would be taking her talents to Spain next year to race in the highly competitive FIM CEV Superstock 600 class, aboard a Kawasaki ZX-6R prepared by Stratos Racing. The Spanish Roadracing championship will be run under the guidance of the FIM for the first time starting next year, which will have the side benefit of exposing Paris to more international teams and competition.
