Up for Sale is a 1974 Kawasaki KZ400 motorcycle. Clear title. All original. 8,243 Miles. Frame # K4-013304. Motor # is not there ( factory replacement cases) see picture.The Motorcycle was sitting since 1980'S. Does not run. Turns over with lots of compression. Inside of the gas tank shows rust, but no holes. Front Brake does not work. Rear brake works as it should. Shifts through all the gears. As Far as the condition goes.. Overall the chrome shows pitting/ rust. Right exhaust is rotted in the back . Gas tank has a small dent on the lower right side. Side covers have no cracks, fenders have no dents. No rips in the seat. You receive what is pictured. Please see my other vintage motorcycles and parts. 45,367 Motorcycle Thefts Reported in US in 2013
Tue, 10 Jun 2014Americans reported 45,367 stolen motorcycles in 2013, down 1.5% from 2012, reports the National Insurance Crime Bureau‘s latest Motorcycle Theft and Recovery Report. According to the NICB motorcycle thefts have been on the decline every year since 2007 when 65,678 motorcycles were reported stolen, though the overall trend appears to be leveling off. Japanese motorcycles continue to be the most popular target for thieves.
