Kawasaki KZ1000P description

This bike started it's life as a 1000cc Police bike.  Many people turn the KZ1000 into a drag bike, or it could be set back to a simple bagger pretty easily if that is what you want.  Or it can be restored to being a police bike, but you risk getting pulled over for impersonating an officer.  This bike is the perfect example of what happens when you have an old police bike that has been stripped of decals, lights, radio, etc. and you just have way too much time on your hands.

This is the only Zombie response Motorcycle I have ever seen and it has been in a Halloween Parade and a couple bike shows.

Mechanically, it runs great and starts right up when you follow this bikes starting procedure.  All 4 carbs were rebuilt last year and the stock air box was replaced with drag filters.  The stock air box, stock rear radio mount and other parts come with the bike.  New wires & plugs as well.  Turn signals and horn work and the bike should pass inspection.  Bike comes with all attachments as shown in the pictures including a bag cell phone that lights up.. Hasn't run in a couple months and just started up in a few cranks following this bikes starting procedure.  Includes Shop manuals, all 3+" thick of them.

Here are the negatives.  All lights work, but there is a switch on the fairing for high and low beams as the original switch does not work.   The bike does not leak oil when on the center stand, but does weep a bit from the shifter seal when on the side stand. The speedometer was replace by prior owner and there is a decal on the new speedometer.  I added that to the mileage on the new speedometer when reporting mileage which is reported at 47,500 even though the speedo says it is 1,300 miles. That's all I can think of on the negatives..

This is a local pick up only item, so you figure out and pay for shipping if you need it shipped. Title free and clear.  Again, I took a lot of pictures so you know exactly what you are getting.  paint is original and the bike even has the original 'Police' side cover decals.  the look has been modified and it is an old bike being sold as-is, where-is.  I am happy to answer any questions or make the bike available if you want to come see it.

James Hillier set new lap time and race time records in a dominating victory in the Lightweight TT race for the 2013 Isle of Man TT. All three of the Kawasaki rider’s lap times were faster than the previous lap record for the Lightweight TT class, for a record overall time of 57:42.245 and average speed of 117.694 mph. The race started with another Kawasaki rider (the class is dominated with Kawasaki Ninja 650s with a few Suzuki SV650s) Dean Harrison taking the early lead through the Glen Helen viewpoint but Hillier was right on his tail about half a second behind.

Lady Moto Gymkhana: ‘You Ride Like A Girl’ – Video

Thu, 22 Mar 2012

A time-tested putdown among boys and adult males is the “You throw like a girl” insult meant to highlight the targeted male’s inability to throw some object with the appropriate force needed to get the object moving and continuing along the correct trajectory. In other words, as the male of your species you should posses the innate ability to throw a ball, but instead you lob it overhand like a female that’s never thrown a pitch or a pass in her life. Of course, the action verb throw is replaceable with just about any action the insulter wishes.
