This is a very well taken care of 2003 Kx85 set up as a supermini. It is a very fast bike and as competitive as any 125 2-stroke. The bike has a 2mm overbore and Wiseco pistons, a Hot Rod stroker crank, a Boysen high flow water pump, a heavy duty clutch with springs, an adjustable Outlaw top triple clamp, FMF Gold Series pipe and Shorty exhaust, black Pro Wheel 19in front 16in rear supermini size rims, Fly racing fat bars, CV4 high pressure radiator cap, EBC brakes, NGK sparkplug, Klotz air filter, and Kenda Washugal stickies in good condition. Unfortunately the last time it was road, the bike was running when I shut it off but I believe the lower rod bearing went out of it and might also need a piston. I have not taken the bike apart but that is what the symptoms showed no guarantee that the rod bearing and piston are the problem but I'm 99% sure.

Small-Displacement Class Considered for 2015 AMA Pro Racing Season

With plans to consolidate the Daytona Sportbike and Supersport classes and the Vance & Hines Harley-Davidson series signed through 2015, a spot will open up on race weekends for another racing class to support the premier Superbike Championship. Mon, 21 May 2012K-Tech have released their popular 25SSK front fork open cartridge system to fit all Showa Big Piston Forks. Here's what K-Tech have to say about them: These lightweight aluminium units are supplied to the same exacting specification as all other 25SSK fitments with 14mm piston rods and a 25mm cartridge tube, the 14mm piston rods displace a large volume of oil through the 25mm control pistons giving enhanced damping characteristics over the standard Big Piston Fork and allow a bigger volume of air for a more precise feel at the bottom of the fork travel.
