Kawasaki KX description

2011 Kawasaki KX 65, SALE SALE SALE!!! $800 OFF! CALL 888-334-5580 AND ASK FOR ERIK HARDIN2011 Kawasaki KX 65 Team Green Motocross Glory Starts Here Competitive riders have to start somewhere and Kawasaki s KX65 is a perfect place to develop high-performance riding skills. With its high-revving and deliciously powerful two-stroke engine, lightweight and agile chassis, disc brakes, long-travel suspension and small size, the KX65 can help teach energetic youngsters the basics and much more of what s arguably the most physically demanding sport in the world. It all starts with the KX65 s liquid-cooled, 64cc two-stroke engine, which pumps out surprising levels of power considering its small displacement. Mated to a smooth-shifting six-speed transmission with a manual clutch, the compact powerplant is bolted to a semi-double-cradle steel frame. Like its older KX siblings, the KX65 s swing arm uses Kawasaki s legendary UNI-TRAK linkage system, which alters leverage on the rear shock as the suspension is compressed, so that small bumps receive light damping and larger bumps receive progressively firmer damping for a smoother ride and better control. Both the shock and fork boast four-way adjustable rebound damping for optimal handling. Lightweight black aluminum rims reduce unsprung weight to help improve suspension action, and offer the same aggressive look as the rims on the larger KX models. Both wheels feature hydraulic disc brakes that not only provide great stopping power but require little maintenance and simplify wheel removal.

FIM Releases New WSBK Rules – Updates Include Pitstops, Weight Limits and Headlight Decals

Wed, 17 Oct 2012

The International Motorcycling Federation and the Superbike Racing Commission released a number of amendments to the 2013 World Superbike Championship rulebook including pitstops, fake headlights and a revised starting grid alignment. We’ve already seen the fake headlights with Kawasaki getting a jump on the new regulation earlier this season with headlight decals on Tom Sykes‘ and Loris Baz‘s ZX-10R. Starting in 2013, all superbikes will have fake headlights to resemble their homologated production models.

Kawasaki Z250 SL Launched In Asia

Wed, 30 Apr 2014

Kawasaki, today, launched the long-awaited streetfighter version of the Ninja 250 in Asia. Dubbed the Z250 SL (Super Lightweight), some may call it the baby Z1000. That nickname, while fitting, is already reserved for the standard Z250, which draws a middle ground in terms of riding position (and amount of plastic) between the Z250 SL and the supersport Ninja 250.  Designed for the sports-minded urban commuter, Kawasaki heralds this lighter, racier alternative to the Z250 as the perfect companion for someone looking for Ninja-based performance, quick, nimble handling, and aggressive ergonomics.
