2009 Kawasaki Kx 250F, 2009 Kawasaki Kx 250F, Original owner. Bike has about 100 hours, give or take 10. Believe it or not it still has the stock front tire. Carb was recently modded by EDDY CRUZE RACING along with a titanium pro circuit full exhaust (about 10 hours ago). Eddy also adjusted the valves which were only a bit off. I never rode the bike that hard, I am an intermediate rider that occasionally rode desert and track since purchase in 2009. Bike was bought around the time the 2010s came out from CMS. It also has a new chain, and sprockets to go with it. I run 14/52 gearing. Pro taper bars. I changed the oil every 1-2 rides, filter 2-3, and always cleaned air filter. When it was stored I always drained the gas, kept oil in. This is a dependable bike and has been alot of fun for me but its time to move on. Kawasaki Recalls Concours 14 for Rear Brake Problem A Previous Recall Failed to Fix
Fri, 27 Jul 2012Kawasaki is issuing a recall for the Concours 14 for a rear brake pedal issue the company had previously tried to fix in 2008. According to documents released by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, road debris can get trapped between the brake pedal and a pedal guard, causing slight pressure on the rear brakes. The rear brake drag can cause the brakes to overheat, potentially leading to brake damage, a rear brake lockup or failure of the rear brakes.

Mon, 18 Mar 2013Ryan Villopoto continues to be in championship form, taking his third consecutive victory and sixth of the season with a win at Lucas Oil Stadium for the Indianapolis round of the 2013 AMA Supercross Championship. The Monster Energy Kawasaki rider had a calculated, methodical race to take the win and expand his championship lead to nine points ahead of Davi Millsaps. Millsaps took the holeshot in a chaotic start to the main event that saw several riders go down at the opening corner.

Tue, 18 Feb 2014James Stewart‘s hot streak continues with his second-consecutive win and fourth AMA Supercross podium in five weeks after an impressive effort at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas. Fresh off of signing a contract extension with Yoshimura Suzuki, Stewart took control of the Arlington main event on the third lap, passing holeshot-taker Ryan Dungey and running away with the win. With his win last week at San Diego, Stewart becomes the first rider to win back-to-back races this season and establishes himself as a championship contender as we approach the mid-way point of the 2014 season.
