Kawasaki KX description

I've decided to sell, my KX250F. The bike was originally owned by North Racing Inc. This was Drew Torrances race bike, #516, Drew raced with AJ Catanzaro on the North Racing team.. I have a copy of the original engine build performed by TLR Performance in Lake City, FL. The original build was for a Motocross Pro KX250F engine dynoing 44-46 hp. The cost was $4,835.14. I just had the motor freshened this spring. Sent the head to TLR for a complete competition rebuild, with new Pro Circuit High Comp. Piston. Cost $1630.00 have receipt. Sent Cylinder to Millennium to be re Nikasiled. . Had new crank & rod bearings installed , and balanced. Transmission was perfect. Bike has 3.1 hrs since rebuild.
I Let a friend race it at Winchester Speed Park. on 7/7/13 went 1-1 in 450 MX C class & 1-DNF in 450 Open class. Was leading race but fell. You can check the results on winchesterspeedpark.com , click on race results, go to round 6 Motocross, open 450 MX C, & 450 Open notice #761 Kaw., that's my bike.
Some of the high perf. parts are: TLR race engine, FMF Megabomb pipe & 4.1 Titanium silencer, C-Cycle B-Kit suspension, RG3 triple clamps, ARC unbreakable levers, Renthal Gold chain with Renthal steel outer rear sprocket, TM Designworks chain slider kit, Renthal fat bars, Devol Radiator guards, ICW oversize radiators, Pro Circuit & Works Connection covers, Twin Air Powerflo air filter kit, SDG seat, Works Connection Holeshot device. Front & rear Dunlop Geomax MX51 tires (new).
I change the oil & filters after every ride! The motor has had 5 oil changes in 3.1 hrs. I only use new Twin Air air filters, I Never re use Air filters. Only use Maxima 10W40 oil, VP race gas. I have lots of extra parts, New plastics, New Dunlop rear tire, front & rear tubes, Twin Air air filters, Maxima oil, SC1 clear coat, oil filters, chain lube, bolt kit, extra seat, etc. This bike is race ready!!
If you want to be the leader, not the follower, then this is the bike!!

Check my feedback, just sold my sons KX250F on Ebay, also have sold expensive items with great feedback. You will not be disappointed. If you want the bike shipped , it will be an additional $75.00 to enclose it in a crate. I do not have the title, was given bill of sale, winning bidder to receive bill of sale. Bike is also for sale locally, & reserve the right to end the auction if it sells. Good Luck! Thanks for looking!

New: Venhill 888 fast-action twistgrips

Fri, 01 Mar 2013

CONTROL specialist Venhill has launched its new 888 range of bike-specific fast action twistgrips.  Supplied complete with the company's top of the range Featherlight cables, the kits are designed for a straightforward replacement of the factory-fitted equipment.  Bike-specific kits are now available for the Honda CBR600F, Kawasaki ZX-6R/ZX-10R, Suzuki GSX-R600/750, Triumph 675 Daytona and Yamaha R1/R6, among others, with prices from £105. Here's Venhill's description of the new product: "Manufactured with a robust CNC machined alloy body, the 888 fast action twistgrip provides a choice of two settings and is supplied with two rotors so that riders can select the throttle action that best suits the riding conditions.  Settings can be changed swiftly by undoing the two set screws securing the throttle body and changing the rotor. On the fastest setting there is 80° of rotation, (taking up 36mm of the cable), which is typically 45% faster than 'standard' throttles.
