Extremely clean gently used 2003 model Kawasaki KX250 2 stroke MX bike. This mint-condition bike has not been ridden much at all, hardly any paint has been worn off frame in footpeg area. Almost everything is original on it except: ProTaper billet top triple clamp with adjustable handlebar clamps (original OEM triple clamp included), Factory 909 aluminum handlebars, and a new Uni-Filter dual stage air cleaner element. Still has original Bridgestone M601 & M602 tires. This bike is in great shape, ready to race MX as-is, needs nothing. Would make great off-road or desert racer too! Also includes complete spare set of black Acerbis plastic. Sold on a Bill of Sale only, offered as-is, where is (Roswell, N.M.). Vintage bike trades considered. The KX legacy began in 1974 with the KX250 which was based on the works machine ridden by AMA Motorcycle Hall of Famer Jimmy Weinert in 1973. The KX Dirt Domination page highlights the successes of the KX line over the last 40 years, including its astounding run in AMA Supercross and Motocross over the last decade.

Mon, 29 Apr 2013Monster Energy Kawasaki racer Ryan Villopoto demonstrated once again he is a the top of his sport, clinching his third-consecutive AMA Supercross championship. Villopoto cemented his title with a win in front of 43,149 fans at Rice-Eccles Stadium in Salt Lake City, Utah, his ninth main event victory of the season and 33rd in his career. Though he led every lap, Villopoto didn’t have as easy a time in Salt Lake City as he has had in some races this season.

Fri, 04 Mar 2011A wet and grey day in Calais in 1992 wouldn’t be the obvious situation for a life changing experience, but for a 11 year old lad on a boring booze cruise from Dover this is exactly what happened. Pockets bulging with funny money I headed to the Tabac for the obligatory bangers, dirty playing cards and some sweets. Then it happened, I stood in front of the magazine rack and reached up, as if drawn by an external force. At the time I wasn’t tall enough for Playboy or L’ Escort so settled for a copy of Moto Verte, the French motocross mag. Life would never be the same again. Inside there was a double page spread, with a fresh faced Jeremy McGrath resting a leg over his #15 Honda CR125. Sporting a pair of fluro MX trousers with a, now retro, bright white surname emblazoned jersey, and casting an eye over a seriously vast motocross park. I stared at this Sinisalo advert all the way home, partly because all the articles were in foreign, but also because I was transfixed. What and how do I become a motocross champion?
