Kawasaki KXF description

You are viewing a used 2006 Kawasaki KX250F with a Missouri title.  This bike runs and rides as it should and there is nothing broken.  There are no dents in the frame, the plastic is not broken or cracked, but there are some scratches on the bike from trail riding.  The bike is very easy to start and has never left me stranded while riding.  This is my personal bike and I have taken good care of it to say the least. This bike has ZERO hesitation in the throttle and runs very crisp!  There is one flaw with this bike; the previous owner stripped the oil bolt so it has since been rethreaded with the next size metric bolt.  Since the threads are larger you must use a new rubber or cork washer every oil change to prevent any leaking. The previous owner didn't tell me about it when I bought the bike, but I tell by buyers everything so you know EXACTLY what you are getting when you get here. This bike runs STRONG and has MANY extras.  If you have any other questions concerning the bike’s condition please email me and ask before bidding and if you have zero feedback you MUST email previous to bidding or I will cancel your bid.  If you want to know how nice previous bikes I have owned and sold on EBAY are, just look at my feedback.  I am only selling because I don’t have as much time to ride it as I thought I would.  I do not need the money so if the bike does not hit its reserve it will not sell period!  I have over $3,000 invested in the bike and the accessories, but I am not asking anywhere near that for the reserve.  If you don't like the bike when you get here you may walk away without any negative feedback.

BSB 2012; Mystic Mac investigates

Tue, 03 Jan 2012

In my opinion, the smartest move in the BSB off season has to be Michael Laverty moving from Swan Yamaha to HM Plant Honda. With a ban on electronics for 2012, and in particular traction control, WFR's Graham Gowland has already proved to Laverty how competitive an EVO spec Fireblade can be - so I’m tipping both these riders to be bang on the money at the Brands Hatch season opener in April. Unlike BMW, Kawasaki and Yamaha, Honda have deliberately developed their road-going Superbike without electronics to give a user friendly feel with good mechanical traction, so it’ll be interesting to see how the opposition copes with their high-tech trickery stripped off.

AMA Supercross: 2012 San Diego Results

Mon, 13 Feb 2012

Ryan Villopoto captured his second straight victory, winning the San Diego round of the 2012 AMA Supercross championship. The Monster Energy Kawasaki rider now has three wins on the season, two more than anyone else, but his hold on the championship points lead has only increased to six points. Villopoto took the lead on the second lap of the main event after overtaking Brett Metcalfe of Yoshimura Suzuki who took the holeshot, with Villopoto‘s teammate Jake Weimer also in the lead group.

New: Venhill 888 fast-action twistgrips

Fri, 01 Mar 2013

CONTROL specialist Venhill has launched its new 888 range of bike-specific fast action twistgrips.  Supplied complete with the company's top of the range Featherlight cables, the kits are designed for a straightforward replacement of the factory-fitted equipment.  Bike-specific kits are now available for the Honda CBR600F, Kawasaki ZX-6R/ZX-10R, Suzuki GSX-R600/750, Triumph 675 Daytona and Yamaha R1/R6, among others, with prices from £105. Here's Venhill's description of the new product: "Manufactured with a robust CNC machined alloy body, the 888 fast action twistgrip provides a choice of two settings and is supplied with two rotors so that riders can select the throttle action that best suits the riding conditions.  Settings can be changed swiftly by undoing the two set screws securing the throttle body and changing the rotor. On the fastest setting there is 80° of rotation, (taking up 36mm of the cable), which is typically 45% faster than 'standard' throttles.
