2013 Kawasaki KLX 140 L, The KLX 140L appeals to a more experienced rider, and has a 144cc air-cooled, single-cylinder engine, and close-ratio transmission makes optimum use of the engine s power. A progressive manual clutch, rear shock with piggyback reservoir that has fully adjustable preload, four-way compression damping and 22-way rebound damping, keyless electric starting, and a front 220mm petal disc and large-bore 27mm twin-piston caliper for strong and easy-to-control braking.

Fri, 29 Jun 2012Looking at the pictures of Japanese firm Yamato's new Kawasaki Z1 you'd be hard pushed to tell it's not the real thing. But in fact it's a scale model only just over a foot long, made with incredible attention to detail with several years of development to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the original 900cc Z1 of 1972. Using 3D scanning of real parts, the bike was scaled down to create this model, which has now gone on sale in Japan at an eye-watering £720 apiece.
Anthony West Can’t Afford to Pay to Race MotoGP, Mulls Retirement
Fri, 27 Jan 2012The 2012 MotoGP season is still months away and the world championship has already lost an entry, as veteran Anthony West announced his withdrawal from the series because he cannot afford to compete. The 30-year-old Australian racer was included on the provisional 2012 MotoGP entry list to compete for the Speed Master team on an Aprilia CRT machine. But with the official pre-season test at Sepang, Malaysia, coming up next week, West says he will not race because teams are asking riders to pay too much to race for them.
