2012 KAWASAKI KLX110L, Taller Suspension and Manual Clutch Expand the PossibilitiesThe standard, shorter, KLX⿢110, with its reliable four-stroke engine, automatic-clutch drivetrain and easy to use push-button starter, is beloved by children and adults alike. Building on the wide appeal of the KLX110, the KLX110L takes a good thing and enhances it even further. The L-model incorporates several key features that make it accessible to an even wider range of riders, allowing those slightly larger, slightly more experienced riders to climb aboard and enjoy the smile-producing euphoria of these little green thumpers.

Put a sting in your 2010 Z1000's tail

Fri, 19 Feb 2010

SCORPION has released an all-new new silencer for the 2010 Kawasaki Z1000.   The slip-on silencer requires no additional modifications: bolt on and go.Consistent power improvements throughout the rev range have been seen, with no adjustments to the fuelling, say Scorpion, with an average increase 3bhp.The new silencer has been acoustically developed to provide a greatly enhanced engine note.  This means the bike will be as loud as the original in terms of a dB reading, but the exhaust note offers a deeper growl. However, removable baffles allow the rider to dramatically alter the tone of the exhaust by simply removing one bolt per silencer.

So the first one is scheduled for Friday, June 20th prior to the Sacramento event.

BSB 2012; Mystic Mac investigates

Tue, 03 Jan 2012

In my opinion, the smartest move in the BSB off season has to be Michael Laverty moving from Swan Yamaha to HM Plant Honda. With a ban on electronics for 2012, and in particular traction control, WFR's Graham Gowland has already proved to Laverty how competitive an EVO spec Fireblade can be - so I’m tipping both these riders to be bang on the money at the Brands Hatch season opener in April. Unlike BMW, Kawasaki and Yamaha, Honda have deliberately developed their road-going Superbike without electronics to give a user friendly feel with good mechanical traction, so it’ll be interesting to see how the opposition copes with their high-tech trickery stripped off.
