1998 Kawasaki KE100, on-off road bike.   Good condition, (a few minor scuffs, scratches).  The rear plastic fender is cracked.  Runs and drives good.  Has 5 speed transmission, passenger pegs, adjustable rear shocks, good tires.  Everything works as it should, (the horn only works occassionally).  Has 1,097 original miles.  Buyer must pick up in Roseville IL. 61473.  If you need to have it shipped.  Buyer must take care of all shipping arrangements.  I can help load the bike.  Clear Illinois title.

2012 Kawasaki Ninja 250R, Ninja 650 and Versys Pegged for Recall

Kawasaki is issuing a recall for certain 2012 Ninja 250R and Ninja 650 sportbikes as well as the Versys 650 due to a risk of the passenger footpegs falling off. According to documents released by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the circlips on the footpegs’ mounting pins may break under engine vibrations, potentially leading the footpegs to detach. This poses a potential danger to the passenger.

Kawasaki has released another teaser for its upcoming revised ZX-14, now dubbed ZX-14R. In the first video, a couple of numbers are cryptically displayed: 84 x 65mm. This is a thinly veiled reference to its bore and stroke dimensions, indicating the biggest Ninja received a 4mm stroke elongation, which would bump the bike’s displacement from 1352cc to 1441cc.
