Kawasaki 750 - H2 description
My 1974 Kawasaki H2 was bought in 2012 and subsequently modified with a road racing theme by Lossa Engineering of Signal Hill. The bike is finished in Kawasaki Green with a white racing stripe and is powered by a replacement 748cc two-stroke triple paired with a five-speed transmission. Features include a half-bubble fairing and windscreen, a cafe-style solo seat and tail section, Kawasaki alloy wheels, and a ceramic-coated exhaust system. Additional modifications include first-oversize Wossner pistons, polished ports, dual front disc brakes, and more.
Kawasaki KZ cast alloy wheels measuring 19? up front and 18? out back are finished in black with silver accents and wear Kenda Challenger tires. Suspension consists of an air-assist telescopic fork as well as dual Hagon shocks mounted to the swingarm. Braking is supplied by Kawasaki KZ dual discs with drilled rotors up front along with a single disc at the rear. An adjustable steering damper is mounted between the lower triple clamp and the frame.

KTM 690 Duke Replaces Kawasaki Ninja 250R for WSBK’s 2012 European Junior Cup
Fri, 20 Jan 2012The World Superbike Championship‘s European Junior Cup youth racing series will switch to race-prepped KTM 690 Duke motorcycles for 2012 from the Kawasaki Ninja 250R racebikes used in its inaugural 2011 season. The rebranded KTM European Junior Cup will be open to riders 14-19 and will be held at eight WSBK rounds in 2012. The series was conceived as an entry point for young racers, providing them opportunities to develop their skills before moving up to higher classes such as the World Superstock Championship and beyond.
2012 US Motorcycle Sales Results – Industry Reports 2.6% Increase
