For 2003, the flagship Indian Chief line comes with the Powerplus engine, the largest displacement engine designed and built by an American OEM motorcycle company. A key feature of the Chief line is its unmistakable, full-body profile and sculpted, full-valence fenders. For 2003 the airbox cover is now painted with an inlayed Indian logo. Completing this package is added detail to the instrument bezel for a more sophisticated look. The Indian Chief Deluxe features a fringed dual seat, whitewall tires, chrome billet rear footpegs and fender graphics. The Chief Deluxe is offered in six striking two-tone color combinations.
