For Sale is a 2000 Indian Chief Motorcycle ,has 4173.3 miles as of today July 3,2016, the bike has been serviced and gone over from front to back, the custom paint is by hendeson studio a $3000.00 paint job. beautiful yellow and white , with feathers ,dream catchers thru out the bike and a Indian Chief on the gas tank on both sides. it has a new gray tinted windshield by rifle original to the bike, amber driving lights, all chrome has normal wear, like new, new custom horn, custom coil chrome cover, has chrome dual exhaust with baffles by Big City thunder in North Carolina with fish tail pipes, leather seat, passenger seat, back rest and saddlebags are in like new condition, also has Lindy crash bar,also flashing brake lights , Just a nice top end bike, I am getting older and my riding bikes days are coming to an end. Hero MotoCorp Forms Joint Venture with Magneti Marelli

Indian manufacturer Hero MotoCorp is teaming up with electronic fuel injection expert Magneti Marelli in a new joint venture. Hero will hold a 60% share in the company with Magenti Marelli controlling the other 40%. The two companies are initially investing a combined US$8.5 million into the joint venture, with a planned investment of US$27 million total over the next ten years.

Polaris Reveals All-New Indian Thunder Stroke 111 Engine

Indian Motorcycle revealed its all-new Thunder Stroke 111 engine, the first engine developed under its new Polaris Industries ownership and the powerplant for the 2014 model year. According to Polaris, the Thunder Stroke 111 engine has already undergone over a million miles of testing, including thousands of miles of on-road testing. Polaris deserves some credit for developing an all-new engine for Indian Motorcycle instead of just re-using the 106ci Freedom V-Twin engine used in the current Victory Motorcycles lineup.

Jack Daniel’s Indian Chief Vintage Auction Raises $30,000 for Operation Ride Home

A customized 2014 Indian Chief Vintage was auctioned for $30,000, raising money to support Operation Ride Home, a partnership program between Jack Daniel’s and the Armed Forces YMCA that supports military service members. The funds will help junior-enlisted members of the U.S. Armed Forces and their families return home during the holiday season.
