For sale is my 48 Indian Chief. I've owned this bike a little over ten years. I rode the bike a couple times a month until it acquired some damage from a small garage fire. This is a great running bike, just requires some work to the front end. As you can see from the pictures the damage was very isolated to the front end only. Due to my situation, I regretfully have to sell this bike as is. My loss, your gain! Requires little cost to get this repaired. If your buying a bike to restore, than you will be very happy with this bike as damage is cosmetic, minus the tire, and requires few parts. This bike is very complete. Very original with all matching numbers! I'm the third owner and it has 29000 original miles. I know the complete history of this bike. India Lands World Superbike Championship Round
Tue, 12 Jun 2012The world’s second-largest motorcycle market will host the World Superbike Championship, with India’s Jaypee Sports International signing a four-year agreement with series organizers Infront Motorsports. India’s first World Superbike round will take place March 9-10, 2013 at the Buddh International Circuit in Greater Noida, near New Delhi. The rest of the 2013 WSBK calendar is yet to be announced, but the Buddh round will likely be second on the schedule behind Australia’s Phillip Island round.
