Indian Bobcat - 100cc Mini-bike (extremely Rare) on 2040-motos
Indian Bobcat tech info
Indian Bobcat description
No Reserve Auction for a rare Indian "Bobcat" Mini-Bike. This machine was passed along from an estate where it had been 90% (+/-) restored by the previous owner before he passed away. It's my understanding that Mr. Floyd Clymer commissioned the development of the "Bobcat" in an attempt to determine if a market existed here in North America for a 100cc powered mini-bike so a very limited number of these "Bobcat" model variants were built using the 100cc Franco Moto Morini engine. Unfortunately, these little scoots were determined to be too powerful and as such were never fully developed into a production intent model variant. I have no paperwork on this little "Bobcat" so what you see is what you get. I will be glad to provide a Bill of Sale for the buyer. The engine turns over with very good compression and the transmission shifts through the gears. The front brake needs to be connected and feels like it drags a bit. The Pirelli tires appear to be original but the wheels & spokes were professionally re-plated. The frame has been powder coated and the fuel tank wet-painted. Again, this is a partially restored motorcycle so for safety's sake, the buyer will need to examine all mechanical and electrical aspects of this machine prior to riding it...or simply put it on display in your collection.
Additional high resolution pictures are available upon request. Please ask questions prior to bidding...Everyone is welcome to bid however I ask that if you do have zero feedback and are sincere to please contact me via email. 2020 Indian FTR1200 Rally Vs. Triumph Scrambler 1200 XC
Fri, 02 Oct 2020Twin Sons of Different Mudders Credit: Photos by Evans Brasfield | Videos by Sean Matic When you’re not scrambling to make ends meet or get ahead, it seems like you’re constantly rallying the troops, possibly ’round the flag but usually just trying to instill pep. It’s always something, and both of those things are so ingrained in my psyche that I barely even miss roosting on the track or burning up the backroads. We were less impressed with the all-new Triumph Speed Twin than we expected to be a couple weeks ago, but when SoCal Motorcycles let us swap it out for a new Scrambler 1200 XC, it was love at first ride.
The Indian Scout Rogue should appear as a 2022 model
Mon, 03 Jan 2022Indian Motorcycle has provided the NHTSA with a 2022 VIN list of motorcycles, which includes two new models: the Scout Rogue and the Scout Rogue Sixty. The motorcycle will be based on the Scout Bobber platform and will be equipped with either a 1133cc engine or the "Sixty" liter engine and will be available with or without anti-lock brakes. Information about the imminent appearance of "Scoundrel" (this is one of the meanings of the word "Rogue") in the Scout line appeared in April 2021, when Indian applied for the Scout Rogue trademark.
