Indian Announces ‘Honoring Heroes’ Incentive Program

Today, Indian Motorcycle announced the Honoring Heroes incentive program which supports North American military personnel. Furthering a “nearly 100 year commitment to Armed Forces,” Indian will give any active, reserve, National Guard, and retired military personnel a $1,000 incentive towards the purchase of any new Indian Chief models. 2015 Hero Hastur 620cc Streetfighter Concept Revealed – Video

Hero Motocorp has revealed a new 620cc streetfighter concept called the Hastur at the 2014 Indian Auto Expo in Greater Noida, near New Delhi. The Hero Hastur concept was developed with the help of Erik Buell Racing which provided its expertise in working with larger engines than Hero’s usual small-displacement motorcycles. The Hastur is powered by a parallel twin 620cc engine claiming 78.9 hp at 8000 rpm and 53.1 ft-lb.

Polaris Reports Increased Results for Both Fourth Quarter and Full Year

  For the 2012 year ending December 31, 2012, Polaris Industries, Inc., (NYSE: PII) reported record net income of $4.40 per diluted share, a 38% increase compared to $3.20 per diluted share. For the fourth quarter of 2012 Polaris reported a net income of $1.24 per diluted share, up 38 percent from the prior year’s fourth quarter net income of $0.90 per diluted share. Reported net income for the full year was $312.3 million, up 37 percent from the previous year’s net income of $227.6 million.
