Indian Other description

1927 37 cubic inch Indian scout. Very nice restoration of an original machine.  Runs and drives great, fabulous correct Indian red paint and pin stripping. Correct nickel plate. Just a super bike for a collector. The  Bosch magneto does not work but is being used as a set of points to fire a coil that has been added along with a battery.  The speedometer is not a Corbin. Correct DU 5 generator and DLX40 carburetor. Motor # EG1129   I took this bike in trade several years ago from a man in Europe who found it there and did a very meticulous restoration. I had it shipped back to the USA and sold it for considerably more than what my reserve is now. I bought it back from the estate of the man I had sold it to three years ago. I do not have a title I will provide a Maine registration in my name and a notarized bill of sale. Check with your DMV before you bid to see if that will be a problem for you. Please do not ask me what it will cost to ship to you. I am not in the shipping business but Federal Allied is 800-747-4100 ex 2210 call them. I will help any winning bidder from over seas to make crate and shipping arrangements. Call me with any questions or concerns before you bid 207-318-5406. Vintage Bike Stash Found in Ohio

Mon, 05 Mar 2012

Brim’s Imports is a vintage motorcycle shop disguised as a used car dealership, and chances are you’ve never heard of the place or its proprietor, Tom Brim. If you’re in the market for a rare vintage motorcycle, however, it may behoove you to give Tom or his brother, Ralph, an old fashion phone call. A website does exist, brimsimport.com, but its for searching the inventory of late model car and truck parts — the cash flow supporting Tom’s motorcycle obsession.
