Offered for sale is this fully restored 1948 Indian Chief. The bike went through a complete ground up restoration including engine rebuild, frame, wheels, saddle, plating, and paint. The restoration which was completed 10yrs ago. It has only covered 11mis since it’s restoration. This is a matching number example which still retains all of it’s original sheetmetal. Engine # CDH2472 B Frame # 3482472 All sheet metal is original.

Hybrid Motorcycle Gets 282 MPG
Mon, 21 Dec 2009The ET-120 is the hybrid version of the Strike EV that was released earlier by Eko Vehicles based in Bangalore, India and claims to be the first hybrid motorcycle in the world. The new hybrid bike will feature a 70cc gas engine and electric motor that will get 120 km/l or about 282 mpg in hybrid mode, has a top speed of 40 mph but the power and torque will be equivalent to a 120cc engine. 2022 Indian Scout Rogue Confirmed by NHTSA
Tue, 04 Jan 2022New Scout Bobber variant on the way VIN information submitted by Indian Motorcycle confirm it is set to add a new Scout Rogue model to its 2022 lineup. The Scout Rogue will be based on the Scout Bobber and will be available with either with the larger 1133cc engine or the 1000cc “Sixty” engine. We first reported that Indian filed trademarks for the Scout Rogue name last April, but we had few firm details about what to expect, or when it will be revealed.
Third Annual ‘The MEET’ at ACM
Tue, 26 Aug 2014More than 2,000 attendees visited America’s Car Museum for its 3rd annual Vintage Motorcycle Festival ‘The MEET’ last weekend in Tacoma, Washington, where over 300 motorcycles and scooters were showcased on the Haub Family Field at LeMay. The event drew pre-1981 motorcycles and scooters from the U.S. and Canada, including an antique motorcycle display, swap meet, cruise-in and a 78-mile roundtrip tour from ACM’s Anderson Plaza to Mt. Rainier.
