2014 Indian Chief Vintage-(First year). Indian Motorcycle Red with Distressed Tan leather(seats/saddlebags/accessories). 111 cu in Thunder Stroke V-Twin. Full factory warranty till February 2019. 6500 miles.
All original with quick release full windshield, quick release saddlebags and passenger seat.
The following Factory Indian upgrades added:
-Stage 1 Air Cleaner($500) and Exhaust mufflers($700), with fishtail tips($200), and dealer calibration.
-Beach Bar handlebars($200)(original bars included).
-Heated Grips($300)(original grips included).
-Leather Fork Bag($150)(mounted to inside windshield).
-12Volt Accessory Power Kit($50)(inside fork bag).
-Driver Backrest($500)
-Passenger Sissy Bar and Backrest Pad($650)
-Leather Accessories(floorboard trim($70), mud flaps($170), grip and lever wraps($130).

 (The factory accessories alone are worth over $3600, which if you buy a new Chief, you would not get any of these items, only two year warranty, plus the dealer added freight and set-up costs of another $1000+ that you don't see till you purchase).

 Easily remove seat, backrests, saddlebags, windshield, etc to change from touring/bagger to cruiser. (Possible trade for Scout or Scout Sixty of same color, plus difference of trade value).

Polaris Reports Q1 2013 Results

Polaris Industries reported a 26% increase in net income over the first quarter of 2013, but a 2.9% decline in on-road vehicle sales (comprised almost entirely of Victory and Indian Motorcycles). The company’s first quarter filings report a net income of $75.5 million, up from the $60.1 million reported over the same period in 2012. Much of the increase can be attributed to a 217% increase in net sales from its snowmobile division, spurred in large part by increase in snowfall across many regions of North America.

The news will impact several major manufacturers hoping to gain a stake in the world’s second largest motorcycle market. India has become the hotspot for manufacturers but one of the biggest obstacles they face is the duty India levies on luxury goods.
