Indian All tech info
Indian All description
Condition: This is
an old bike being 70 years old and a chopper built 40 years ago. So it could
really use some TLC. The bike runs okay, but the mag is getting weak and the
clutch is sticky. For how the bike looks it does show its age, the tire tread
is low, the fuel tank shows scuffs and minor scratches, the chrome is in fairly
good condition just minor imperfections, the paint on the frame of the bike has
minor imperfections as well, the seat is in fairly good condition, the exhaust
pipes show discoloration from the heat of the exhaust and the chain is
discolored from use. I suggest rebuilding the Mag and cleaning the clutch
plates. This is a nice bike but it is also an old bike so don’t expect to fly
down the road at 80 MPH all day long it’s just not realistic. Feel free to ask
any questions or come see the bike, I am honest and will tell the truth. I put
100,000 miles in the mileage description when in fact the mileage is not known
because the bike does not have a speedometer. History: This bike was originally covered in
“Easyriders” July of 1980 and “Best of In The Wind” published Winter of 1982.
(See attached magazine picture) I will supply the magazines with the pink slip
to the buyer. I thought I would never sell this bike, but I am currently
building a 1927 Excelsior Super X racer and it is getting very expensive. I
rode this bike sometime last year but the mag was getting weak and the clutch
was somewhat sticky so I just parked it. The title is clean and in my name. (Registered
as a 1946) This is a great old bike, super cool and is a big part of chopper
history built in the 70’s and never modified. Shipping and
Payment: You can
ship the bike anywhere you want, you will just have to pay the shipping. I am
available to help load the bike and storing the bike here is no problem if it
takes some time to figure it out. I will need a $1,000 non-refundable deposit
48 hours after the auction ends. Paypal is fine as it makes it easier for
everyone. Final payment must be received in cash or check and cleared in my
bank before I let this beauty roll out the door. I will be starting the bidding
at $14,000 as that is my minimum. I hope the bidding goes higher but we will
see. I will not do trades or screwy deals. If you want the bike just pay
me and send a shipper over here and we will load it. Keep it simple and all
will be good. As with any used bike sale, the bike is “as is” “where it is”. You
are welcome to come check it out personally before you bid if you want. Feel
free to ask questions I am honest and will tell the truth. Good luck bidding! |

All 50 States Ranked For Highest Motorcycle Ownership Per Capita
Tue, 18 Feb 2014In a recent study done ranking each of the 50 states (and the District of Columbia) by motorcycle ownership per capita, South Dakota ranked the best. There are a total of 69,284 motorcycles registered in the state, according to the Department of Transportation, and with a total population of 816,598, when you do the math, there’s roughly 12 people in South Dakota for every motorcycle. Considering South Dakota is the home of the Sturgis rally, its ranking on this list may not be much of a surprise.
