1905 Indian, meticulously restored by long time AMCA member and master restorer, Charlie Petty. Hendee/Indian produced 1181 motocycles in 1905. As a comparison, 6100 were produced in 1910 and 32,000 were produced in 1913. This Indian is the 1805th ever produced. This motocycle was restored in the eighties from a complete and running bike.All nickel, not chrome. Bill of sale only. Bike can be stored until shipping is arranged. Piaggio Slashes Vespa LX125 Prices in India to Bolster Slow Sales

Piaggio launched its Vespa scooter brand at last January’s Indian Auto Expo to much fanfare but sales have fallen short of expectations. The Vespa LX125 launched in Indian showrooms in April as the first new Vespa scooter offered in the country in 13 years, but Piaggio has only sold about 25,000 units. That might seem like a lot, and would be, for the U.S.

“The Meet” Vintage Motorcycle Show This Saturday

The stage is set for ”The Meet at ACM” motorcycle show this weekend in Tacoma, WA. While festivities will begin on Friday evening, America’s Car Museum (ACM) will host the third annual Vintage Motorcycle Festival on Saturday from 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM. Organizers expect 450 vintage motorcycles and scooters from all over the nation to attend.

Provisional 2013 World Superbike Championship Calendar Released

The International Motorcycling Federation released a provisional calendar for the 2013 World Superbike Championship. The 2013 season will see a new round in India, the return of Jerez, and Laguna Seca replacing Miller Motorsports Park as the series’ lone U.S. stop.
