Parts from an 02 FC470E that was a shop race bike and belonged to dealership that parts were obtained from. This bike was already apart and many parts gone. It was disassembled due to motor failure and lack of parts available at the time.

cylinder has scuffing  damage at bottom of stroke. Not sure if these can be resleeved, may be able to hone and use butnot sure.

US Motorcycle Sales First Half 2011 Results

The U.S. motorcycle industry saw a 4.6% decrease in year-on-year sales over the first six months of 2011, thanks mostly to a 17.3% drop in ATV sales. Motorcycle and scooter sales however saw a 1.7% bump in the first half .

Recall for 6,117 MY2011 KTM and Husaberg Off-road and Competition Models

KTM and Husaberg are recalling about 6,117 off-road motorcycles due to a risk of cracked handlebar clamps. According to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, the handlebar clamps on some off-road KTM and Husaberg models can develop cracks from normal use.

When Pierer Industrie AG purchased Husqvarna from BMW in January, it was obvious some major changes were on their way. Pierer Industries AG is owned by Stefan Pierer, who happens to be chief executive officer of KTM, which also happens to be the parent company of Husaberg. That’s three European motorcycle manufacturers with strong off-road lineages in the same family.
