Honda XR description

Very clean and well cared for XR650L. Extremely reliable thumper....Its a Honda! It looks as if this bike was never taken off road. All the plastics, Paint, and hardware shows very minimal wear and tear. Has aftermarket Moose seat and an aluminum luggage rack installed. Tires have good tread. Runs and rides excellent. Seat has a small tear. I hold a clean CA title on hand.

Electric Motorcycle Conversion [video]

If you were ever curious how to convert your smelly, noisy and dirty gas powered motorcycle into a quiet and zero emissions electric motorcycle then you have to check this video out from GomiStyle.  They take an old Honda Rebel 250 and customize the frame to accommodate the electric motor and batteries, they claim the conversion should take about two to three days to complete, the batteries will take about 5-8 hours to charge and will give you a top speed of 45 mph. Honda announced it is following up on its NC700 series with a new large-sized model, with sales expected to begin in North America in 2013. Honda first announced plans for its NC700 models in at the 2010 EICMA show with a concept it called the “New Mid“, so it really shouldn’t be a surprise Honda would follow it up with a “New Large” series. The new models were announced in a presentation by Honda Chief Executive Officer Takanobu Ito alongside plans to develop a new MotoGP-derived sportbike.
