I have had a lot of fun on this bike. I did about 20 off road miles the first season, then I realized im getting old-ish, and most of the trails are gone... So I strapped on a ez-pass and off I went, upstate NY, PENN, RI, MAINE, what a blast. The bike has 85 miles on a oil+filter change, both tires and grease steering head bearings, it needs nothing, it is 100% ready to ride. I have taken vary good care of it and kept up with maintenance, it's had 16 oil changes and 4 air filters. EVERY highway trip started and ended with oil+filter. I checked valve clearance 2 times, once at 2570mi. 1 EX valve .001 loose, and at 6110mi. both IN .001 loose, yup its a honda. ...So then honda came out with the africa twin!!! Time for the XR to move on. The only mod on the bike is "dave's carb mod" Local pick up in cromwell, CT. 500.00 deposit in 48 hours after auction end. 15T 650R front sprocket and 52T rear sprocket |

But with India’s middle class starting to flex its financial muscle while other markets continue to struggle, the New Delhi show is becoming much more prominent, with major OEMs positioning themselves to claim a piece of the India’s 13 million vehicles-a-year market. We’ve already looked at India-produced Royal Enfield’s new Thunderbird 500 and Hero Moto’s hybrid scooter concept which debuted at the Auto Expo, and today we’ll look at what the major international OEMs presented.
2014 Honda CTX700 Recalled in Canada for ABS Issue
Thu, 11 Jul 2013Transport Canada announced a recall for the new Honda CTX700 because of a manufacturing error in its anti-lock braking system. The Canadian recall applies to both the CTX700N and the partially-faired CTX700T (known simply as the Honda CTX700 in the U.S. market and other markets.) According to the recall notice, the ABS modulator may have been manufactured incorrectly and could potentially fail, allowing the front and/or rear wheels to lock up under heavy braking, increasing the risk of a crash.

Presumably, if your pockets are deep enough to buy all the engine parts from Kitaco (how about a DOHC four-valve head?), this sort of performance is within the reach of every C90 Honda owner. All those cabbies doing their 'knowledge' would make mincemeat of London traffic with this sort of acceleration.
