Honda XR description

2009 Honda XR650L, Very clean dual-purpose XR650L, with just under 8,000 miles! - It all starts in the engine room, where the XRs potent, Baja-bred 644 cubic centimeter OHC powerplant uses Hondas patented Radial Four-Valve Combustion Chamber (RFVC) to put out huge torque and power. From there, a gear-driven counterbalancer minimizes vibrations, while a light, rigid chassis and long-travel suspension soak up the bumps and deliver superb handling on pavement and off. Handy electric starting simply makes it all that much easier. The XR650L. The name is new, but its as good as ever.

Long, low, quick and efficient like its namesake, the ’Gator was like nothing we’d seen before. The bike was the brainchild of Dan Gurney, the legendary F1 and Le Mans winning driver and championship-winning sports car builder.
