Honda XR description

                     !!Welcome to my Auction!!

Up for sale today is my 2001 XR400R.

I bought this bike earlier this year from my neighbor for $1800.00 and sunk another $250.00 into it. I am the 3rd owner of this bike. My neighbor never used it, because he also had a XL600R enduro, so he sold it to me. This bike starts, stops and runs awesome!! This bike always starts right up, it doesn't matter what the weather is! This bike is a power house and is one of the best trail bikes ever made! I rode around my house and around the farm. Since I purchased it earlier this year I have put on the following items,

1.New front tire

2.New front brakes

3.Front master cylinder rebuild kit

4.New clutch perch and lever

5.New front and back sprocket 13/50 tooth (Still have the 15/48 that came with the bike)

6.New O-ring chain

7. New rear brakes

8. New Moose red handle bars

9. New hand guards

I cleaned and tuned the carb. This bike really runs great! I changed the oil maybe 2 weeks ago and has had maybe 4 hours of run time. This bike doesn't burn any oil or smoke at all! The suspension is awesome and is set up for trail riding. Will wheelie pretty much on demand with the sprocket set up it has now. If you rode it, you would buy it. It does have typical scratches and wear, but its all cosmetic and the bike still looks great and is ready to ride anywhere. I do not have a title for this bike. I bought it this way, I personally didn't care because I was using it around the house and out in the pastures to move cows around. It do have the original rear fender that has the tail light on it, it is not shown in my pictures. I have a new 13 and a slightly used 48 tooth sprocket that goes with it as well. I will also throw in a computer that shows engine rpm, time, distance speed, etc. I started to hook it up, but ran out of time because of my job. It will be included though.

Like I stated above, this bike starts, stops and runs awesome!! It is a 100% ready to go riding today. I also have included a video of the bike, if you care to check it out. If you have any questions, feel free to email me through EBay or you can give me a call at 630-788-1002. I am located in MT Morris, IL 61054. If you are in the neighborhood and want to stop buy and take a look, feel free to set up a time to check it out.

I will not ship this bike, so please don't even ask. Cash due upon pick-up.

Thanks for looking and good luck!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gHgj8FKDd3s&feature=youtu.be

Honda And Repsol Celebrate 20 Years Together

Mon, 10 Feb 2014

If we were to play a game of word association, the mention of “Repsol” would automatically trigger “Honda” from the audience, or at least anyone who pays the slightest bit of attention to Grand Prix racing. That’s because the two companies have achieved much success in this, their 20th year as partners. The longest running partnership between sponsor and manufacturer in the history of the Motorcycle World Championship, Repsol Honda has won 10 World titles, 124 race wins and 338 podiums in 500cc and MotoGP.
