Honda XR description

You are bidding on a 2001 Honda XR200R. I have had this bike for a little less than a year. I have ridden it twice at the local ORV park and once in a vintage mx event (bike was serviced after these three rides-oil changed, air filter cleaned, chain adjusted and lubed). Otherwise I just start it once a week and follow my son around the yard while he rides his mini-bike. It is super reliable-starts on the first or second kick cold, first kick when hot. It also idles well. Below is a list of what all I have done to the bike while it has been in my ownership:

Adjusted valves
Cleaned carburetor
Installed new Parts America chain
Installed new JT Sprockets-front and rear
Installed new MSR shift lever
Installed UNI Air Filter
Installed CRF150R front fender and numberplate
Installed gripper seat cover (have stock seat cover)
Changed fork oil with Bel Ray 10 wt
Installed Pro Taper Pillow Top Grips (have stock grips in great shape)
Installed Acerbis Uniko handguards
(I also have new brake shoes, but have not installed them yet)

This bike has served me well, runs great, dead reliable and is quick for what it is. It is also quiet-has stock pipe-so if you live near others it is not disturbing. There is nothing wrong with this bike, I just want to sell it to go back to a two stroke. Bike is located in Western, NC. Buyer will need to pick up, but I might deliver within a 100 mile radius for gas money. Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks.

Cyril Despres won his fifth career Dakar Rally while helping KTM win for the 12th consecutive time, in taking the motorcycle class in the 2013 edition of the famed off-road race. KTM was again the dominant manufacturer with the top five finishers in the motorcycle class riding motorcycles from the Austrian manufacturer. Despres finished with an overall time of 43:24:22 for the win, including a 15-minute penalty for swapping an engine after the one he was using in his KTM 450 Rallye failed.

I've struggled with my Honda hard luggage over the past few months, I have to admit. To much office hilarity (and piss taking) I managed to lose the top box just a few miles from the office. I thought the locating mechanism was fastened securely but the first rapid getaway from the first set of traffic lights on Upper Street proved me wrong.It was at least a mile before I noticed that my top box was absent.
