Honda XR description

1993 Honda xr250l, purchased from original owner. Bike had been sitting since 2008. The bike has never been off-road. Still ridding on the original Yokohama tires. Bike has k&N air filter, fresh oil change with K&N filter. This bike runs and looks excellent. There is one spot of paint missing from the side case, and there is some heat damage to the right side plastic from the muffler. The mileage is correct and the bike is ready to ride. Honda reported sales of 15.5 million motorcycles for its fiscal year ended March 31, 2013. That marks a 2.8% increase from the 15.1 motorcycles sold the previous fiscal year. Sales were particularly strong in North America where Honda reported a 25% increase in motorcycles sold.

Honda Fury Special Edition Controversy?

It seems the idea that there is a “special edition” Honda Fury has achieved urban-legend levels. Motorcycle.com recently spoke to Jon Seidel of American Honda to clarify some of the controversy generated in www.furyforums.com regarding a special edition Fury model. According to Seidel, no mention was ever made to the media during the Fury’s press unveiling or in any press material or at any other time, “that any Fury color or specific Fury model was a special edition.” Seidel stated that he also queried Honda’s product planning department about the existence of any special edition models and reported that no information had ever been released or implied from Honda Product Planning as to the existence of a Fury SE.
