Honda XR description

Both run very good and ride. The orange "84"xr250R burns oil. It has the dual carb set up and seems faster than the white one with a single carb set up. Goes through gears just fine. The frame has been painted a couple times from its original orange color and is chipping here and there. Otherwise looks very good for a dirtbike with the normal scrapes in the plastics. We do have the exhaust guard that is missing in the pics and is now back on the bike. Has Renthal bars and risers. Lights do not work. I do have a clean title for this one. Newer cables, innertubes, chain, and sprocket, new grips included but not installed. Mechanically sound except for the oil burn/smoke.

The "1990" XR250L does have a brand new Wiesco piston and rings and was bored 1 over. Lights work, needs tail light cover. . New grips included but not installed. It just had something go wrong with the gear shifter, it's just sitting there and it feels like it's not attached to anything so it is currently in 2nd gear. It could be just the shift fork, but I don't know. Went through all the gears just fine before this happend. Also has an oil leak out the valve cover gasket. Parts are cheap for these on here.We bought this bike with the top end of the engine  in pieces and put it together. The preivious owner promised to send the title but never did. Comes with a bill of sale only and the previous owners genaric signed bill of sale stating he would send the title in the mail(we did see the title and it was correct)! We do have the original white gas tank for the bike as well as an extra front fender.

One price for 2 bikes!

Buyer is responsibe for setting up, paying for, and having your shipping company pick the bikes up at my house.

FULL "CLEARED" PAYMENT IS TO BE MADE BEFORE BIKES AND TITLE WILL BE RELEASED!

Moriwaki MD250 - the stink wheel eradicator

Tue, 31 Aug 2010

This beautiful motorcycle is the Moriwaki MD250 road racer, the replacement for 125cc two-strokes in MotoGP come 2012. The alloy beam chassis houses Honda’s diminutive CRF250X uni-cam motor, normally seen wearing long travel suspension and knobbly tyres. The quick revving liquid cooled four-stroke motor offers electric-start convenience and a maintenance schedule that most two-stroke racers can only dream of.

Schwantz School, the ultimate track experience?

Mon, 22 Aug 2011

If having one-to-one instruction from an ex-MotoGP World Champion is your dream, then why not put the Schwantz School on your Christmas list for 2012. Ok, it’s in America and slightly more expensive than your average track day ($2750 for two days at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway) but many satisfied customers will argue this is the best rider training experience in the world. Your hard earned Dollar will see you alternate between the classroom and track from 8am until 4pm, then Kevin will take you on a track tour where he explains riding techniques and answers questions (he even drives the bus).

Hopkins to Sit Out 2013 Racing Season to Recover from Injuries

Tue, 09 Oct 2012

American John Hopkins announced he is taking a sabbatical from racing for 2013 to recover from a number of significant injuries. Hopkins’ once very promising racing career has been hampered by both a series of bad luck and injury. It seems so long ago that Hopkins finished fourth overall in the 2007 MotoGP Championship with Suzuki.
