Super awesome street legal XR350R. Has a big head and a big bore. Work done by XR's Only. Big stainless head pipe with custom muffler. Fork risers, vintage tail light. This bike is so fast you think it is a two stroke. It also comes with a custom super moto / motard sumo setup. Warp 9 rims all professionally laced by Buchanan's Rim & Spoke with Bridgestone Battle Ax tires with like new tread. Big awesome brake rotor...I believe it is EBC. Comes with custom caliper mount. This think can do stoppies all day with the amount of brake pressure Takes about 20 minutes to transfer from street to dirt. All suspension professionally setup by ex-AMA superbike tuner Steve Biganski. A whole new bottom end has been installed recently by Steve as well. This bike needs nothing. It is garage kept, very well taken care of. Turn key. YOU DO NOT NEED TO DO ANYTHING!!! Recent oil change & brake pads. I have all receipts for all services since I purchased the bike. The wheels alone cost $2000. Also included is a VAPOR digital speedo / tach / heat sensor & custom brake & clutch levers. Bike is listed locally and I reserve the right to end the listing at my discretion. Local pickup. I will be willing to drop off the bike in a 30 mile radius of Los Angeles. AMA Pro Flat Track Stars to Face Off in Ride Academy “Race of Legends”
Fri, 12 Apr 2013When the AMA Flat Track stars of today compete at the spring Springfield Mile, May 26 at the Illinois State Fairgrounds, they will be joined by the stars of the past, taking part in the “Ride of Legends“. Hosted by the Illinois Motorcycle Dealers Association and Ride Academy, a riding school founded by multiple Grand National race winner Mike Hacker, the “Ride of Legends” exhibition race will feature several other past Grand National event winners racing each other on Honda dirt bikes. Joining Hacker will be Jay Springsteen, Joe Kopp, Rich King, Ronnie Jones, Steve Beattie, Steve Moorehead and Chris Carr.

Even although I had the dream ticket of riding for HRC in the 500cc World Championship I never stopped wanting to come back to the homeland and race my old mates. Brian Morrison started racing on the same day as myself and went on to have a successful carreer riding for Honda in the UK then later in the World Endurance Championship.
FIM to Revise WSBK Homologation Requirements
Fri, 17 Jan 2014The International Motorcycling Federation is considering modifying its homologation requirements for the World Superbike Championship following Bimota‘s somewhat surprising plans to re-enter the series. Under current regulations, manufacturers must produce a minimum number of motorcycles for it to be eligible to compete in the production-based WSBK championship. The official regulations currently require a minimum of 125 units produced for an initial homologation inspection, 500 units produced by June 30 of the current year, 1,000 units by the end of the current year and 2,000 units by the end of the following year.
