Honda XR description

1983 Honda xl with less than 700 original miles. I'm the 3rd owner, it was bought for a guy's wife new in 83, she road it briefly,dropped it once and it sat in a garage for 30 plus years. It is in excellent condition,still looks brand new in a lot of ways. It runs excellent,first Kirk and very easy to ride. I used it for several months for a 2 mile commute. There is a crap on tachometer and headlight bezel, and a dent in the tank that could be pushed out easily. Great bike, only selling because of limited space and I have another bike. I have a hitch hauler and large biltwell DOT helmet that can go with the bike. I'm located in Brooklyn New York.... Shipping will be your responsibility, I'm willing to help accommodate the logistics if I can but shipping expenses and handling will be the responsibility of the buyer. The 2014 AMA Pro Road Racing season resumes this weekend with the Subway SuperBike Doubleheader at Road America, in Elkhart Lake, Wis., and all eyes will be on 21-year-old AMA Pro SuperBike rookie Cameron Beaubier on the No. 2 Monster Energy Graves Yamaha YZF-R1. Beaubier may be the new kid on the block, but he entered the season opener at Daytona International Speedway with high expectations.
