Specs and Features The focal point of the Honda VTX 1800 is, obviously, its engine: a liquid-cooled 1795cc V-twin. This provides a quarter-mile acceleration of 12.3 seconds, crossing the line at 105.5mph. An engine this powerful deserved some new brakes and throttle, so Honda updated its linking brake feature and improved the throttle with its Programmed Fuel Injection system. And in the interest of keeping this 758 pound (weight with a full 4.5-gallon tank) behemoth civil, the VTX1800N is wonderfully comfortable to sit on and very manageable in traffic. 2014 AMA Supercross – Atlanta Results
Mon, 24 Feb 2014KTM‘s Ken Roczen continues to impress, taking his second AMA Supercross win of his 450-class rookie season at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta. Roczen, who also won the season opening Anaheim 1 round, took advantage of a mistake by Kawasaki‘s Ryan Villopoto to take the win and move within nine points of the defending champion in the rider standings. The main event started with Smartop Motoconcepts Suzuki rider Mike Alessi taking the holeshot for his best start this season.

As the first test of the year, we shouldn’t take too much stock into the results, but they do provide a basis for later comparison.
