******FREE SHIPPING***** ***Please note that I only can only ship within Canada.  If you wish to pickup or make another arrangements, please let me know ahead of time.  The listing is supposed to say that I DO NOT ship to the United States, but for some reason isn't showing that setting.  I can ONLY ship to Canada.  Thank-you.*** This bike belonged to my father and was well maintained when he was riding it.  He passed away a few years ago and I stored in my garage after he died.  It hadn't been ridden in a while and I thought it would need some basic TLC (since it had been sitting).   I ended up replacing the battery and spark plugs with brand new ones and cleaned it up but I couldn't quite get it started (it would turn over). I took it to a great bike mechanic and he was able to start it up right away, so it was running.  I decided to have a few extra things done (recommended) to get it tuned up and back on the road in good shape.  As I mentioned, it has a new battery and new spark plugs.  The air filter and carburetor have been cleaned, the rear brakes have been freed up/cleaned and the front brakes have a new brake kit on them.  Also, the inside of the gas tank has been completely redone/refinished to make sure that there is no rust. So for just for a quick rundown, the bike is working great and the following has been done:     Oil change     New oil filter     New battery     New spark plugs     Air Filter cleaned     Carburetor cleaned/carb kit     Rear brakes freed up/cleaned up     Front brakes (New brake kit)     Gas tank completely relined The original owner's manual and official Harley service manual are included.  If you'd like to see closer pictures of anything or have any questions, please let me know.

2024 Honda Transalp Review – First Ride

Fri, 03 Nov 2023

A European staple comes to America Photos by Align Media/Honda Adventure bikes weren’t really a thing in 1989, at least not in the United States. Even BMW’s venerable GS was nothing more than a misunderstood, oversized dual-purpose machine with ties to the Paris-Dakar rally, which itself was only a little more than a decade old at the time. At the back of the dealership where I worked in 1991, parked next to the tire rack, languished a 1989 Honda XL600V Transalp.

A cult classic scooter electrified and reimagined for Gen Z Photos: Honda/Wedrick Campbell It doesn’t take long to scoot around Honda’s US headquarters in Torrance, California to see how the new Motocompacto makes a lot of sense. Honda HQ is effectively a campus, with multiple buildings interlinked by arteries of short roads. Walking is the usual method people use to get around.

Church of MO: 2003 Honda ST1300

Now if it’s a Honda sport tourer you crave, it’s the Gold Wing or, well, that’s about it. Anyway, the big 1261cc V-four ST1300 was quite the long-distance mile muncher 20 years ago.
